Creepy Billboard on US-23

Also, on our drive home Dem and I managed to remember to take a picture of this billboard on US-23 just north of Ann Arbor near Fenton that has been creeping us out. Its been up for quite awhile now and there is nothing on it besides this faceless/alien looking thing. When we first saw it we assumed it was part of some big ad campaign, but we haven't seen anything else related to it since...it's just weird. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS PLEASE LET US NOW.

I'm also very creeped out by this billboard. I live in Fowlerville and drive to visit family in Clio on occasion. Please somebody tell me what this thing is.

I've surfed the web looking for an answer but haven't found one. Nobody seems to know???

I've also searched online and called the company Lamar, that owns the billboard, without any luck.

From looking online a bit, this billboard was also up in Ann Arbor about 5 years ago and then disappeared. It is no longer up in Fenton (I live here and drive by it daily.)

Maybe it was an unfinished sign or a person climbed up there and shadowed off the lights. :)

What does this mean...?? Very strange! Whatever it is it for sure has everyone wondering!!

It is possibly a reference to the Pink Floyd movie "The Wall". The movie is about Syd Barret's (Pink Floyd lead singer) journey into insanity. This billboard may be an imitation of the shaving scene from "The Wall". It might be a deep statement or maybe a fanatic of the movie/band may have put it up.

Or...it could be an advertising ploy by lamar. We have one here with a giant, purple armadillo and another one that just says "caught ya lookin''. You're noticing it, that's what they want. It's probably available for use and they're letting you know by keeping it "open".

If you can't find anything about it on the internet and there has been nothing else like it pop up then that alone leads me to believe that this is the work of some art student trying to make an impression on all of those who drive this road. The figure is faceless and blurred. I'm not from the area but maybe that alone makes a statement about the area?
