I haven't posted any pictures from the wedding because haven't picked up our photos yet and I actually did even have a camera with me. But since I believe there is a chance that I have some readers that weren't there so I'm going to post a few pictures stolen from my sister...thanks Rey.
Today's post is actually a stolen post from our mutual friend Ciara. For those of you at the ceremony she is the girl that introduced Dem to me. Ciara has had many friends and as a result she always has friends getting married. So she started on her blog a tradition of posting something about the wedding and then offering a sneak peak into the future of the married couple. She takes photos of the two, combines them to form a look at their future son and daughter. It is always a combination of creepy and humorous. So courtesy of Ciara here are her pictures of us, our future son, and our future daughter.
Yesterday I showed pictures of the beautiful layout of our hotel, so today I'll give some pictures of the animals that were around us. This sampling doesn't fully convey just how many lizards (quantity and variety) there are around there. This might sounds gross or creepy, but they really aren't annoying at all. They just hangout around the pools and grounds looking for some water to drink and a little bit of food to nibble on.
Today's I'm giving a special treat with several photos taken from around our hotel. These are all photos of the area between the back side of our hotel and the ocean. The pools are all connected to each other and positioned such that they appear to be connected to a small river that flows down towards the ocean (its not really though). Plus there is a rather large water slide on the one side that goes down to the lower pool (Dem and I would go down it a few times each day).
I have decided to pause the wedding picture posting for a day because I wanted to post something about Michael Jackson. His passing away on Friday is sad, but in reality for the average fan of his music, like myself, it really just affords the opportunity to relive his music and great moments. It is his family and close friends that actually suffer. All weekend Dem and I have had songs like Beat It, Billie Jean, Man in the Mirror, etc in our heads, and one night I stayed up till nearly 2am watching a Michael Jackson biography and listening to friends talk about him on Larry King. Now that I'm back in Ann Arbor I will be busting out my Thriller cd (TC has the album...I only have the cd) and first chance I get my Dangerous cd as well (I think its in Pigeon). So to remember the original MJ I'm posting the performance where he first busted out the Moonwalk...
